Seaworlds new water park has river float rides through colourful fish, rapids rides, wave pools, dolphins, white sandy beaches and cooling shade. There is something for all the family. Take a look at their website to see what is on offer.

The Walt Disney World car parks are only 10 minutes from Manatee Villa.
These are probably the best known theme parks in the world. There are 4 theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studios & Animal Kingdom) and 2 water parks (Blizzard Beach & Typhoon Lagoon). You are sure to have a great time at all of them.

The Universal Studios car parks are approx. 30 minutes from Manatee Villa.
Universal Studios is a great day out for all the family and is a big favourite with many of our guests. There are an assortment of rides to suit all ages. Men in Black, Shrek & Back to the future rides are very popular. Harry Potter land due to open Spring 2010.

The Islands of Adventure car parks are approx. 30 minutes from Manatee Villa.
Islands of Adventure is the newer Universal park and has some truly great rides for all the family. A change of shorts is a good idea as you're bound to get wet in Toon Lagoon. There's also the Hulk roller-coaster which launches you to 40mph in 2 seconds.

The entrance to Sea World is only 15 minutes from Manatee Villa.
Sea World is our family's favourite park. It is 200 acres of beautiful gardens with amazing shows and rides for everyone. The Shamu shows are spectacular and it's best to get your seat early if you don't want to get wet ! There are also the Manatees if you want to spend a quiet 10 minutes watching these strange mammals swim before they become extinct.

Busch Gardens is approx. 90 minutes from Manatee Villa in Tampa.
Busch Gardens is well worth the drive so why not stop for the night and make the most of the trip. There are about a dozen roller-coasters and various rides which will provide entertainment for all the family. Spare shorts are a must ! Directions to Busch Gardens can be found on their website. We're sure you won't be disappointed.

Kennedy Space Centre is approx. 60 minutes from Manatee Villa.
This is a long day as there is so much to see and do. Each year, millions of visitors from across the world make the trek to this hub of technology and discovery, where many of mankind’s greatest accomplishments take place. Launch schedules can be found on the KSC web-site.

The entrance to Discovery Cove is only 15 minutes from Manatee Villa.
Discovery Cove is the place to swim and interact with dolphins, snorkel in colourful reefs and come face-to-face with tropical fish and rays. You will even see sharks and barracuda behind the safety of glass. It is important that you book early in peak season to avoid disappointment as numbers are limited to 1,000 per day.

The entrance to Wet'n Wild is approx. 30 minutes from Manatee Villa.
Wet 'n Wild has a great wave pool and amazing slides and flume rides for fun-lovers of all ages. Free-fall 250ft on Der Stuka or just drift slowly down the Blast on a rubber ring the choice is yours. There are buoyancy aids, certified lifeguards, lockers & tubes throughout the park. A nice relaxing day out for all the family.

Typhoon Lagoon is only 10 minutes from Manatee Villa.
The massive wave pool has a beautiful sun filled beach ideal for the little ones make something in the sand. It has 10 water slides and a shark pool, where you can freely swim with sharks over a man made reef ! The park also offers surfing lessons in the hazard free wave pool !

Boggy Creek Airboats is approx. 15-20 minutes from Manatee Villa.
See the wetlands of Florida and it's wildlife up close. Whisk across the water at speeds up to 45mph. On each trip you'll have the chance to see soaring eagles, osprey, snakes, turtles and of course Florida alligators. Don't forget to take your sunscreen and glasses. Why not try the night time tour as this is the best time to see the big alligators as they come out at night.

Gatorland is approx 20-25 minutes from Manatee Villa.
Gatorland is a great half day out. It is a 110 acre theme park & wildlife park. It has thousands of alligators. The shows include Gator Wrestlin' where they wrestle 6-8 foot alligators, gators who jump 4 or 5 feet out of the water to get their food from the keepers hand. There is a boardwalk where you can watch some really big gators swimming as well as their nests.

Silver Springs is approx 50 minutes from Manatee Villa.
Silver Springs is the original Floirda attraction. It opened in 1878 after glass bottomed boats had been invented. so take one down the crystal clear waters of the Silver River and over seven springs. There are many other thing to keep you amused . There are also gators and other reptiles to keep you enthralled as well as a new spectacular fountain display.

Old Town is approx. 10 minutes from Manatee Villa.
Old Town is one of the main attractions on US192. It has something for all the family, young and old. You can catapult yourself 350 feet into the air, swing 60 feet above the ground at 20 feet per second or ride the kiddies bumper cars in Kids Town if you're not that brave. There are lots of speciality shops and also car cruises on Friday & Saturday nights.

LBVF Stores are only 5 minutes from Manatee Villa.
Lake Bueana Vista Factory Stores have a great selection of shopping for all the family. There are around 45 outlets for you to investigate including Carter's For Kids, Fossil, Converse, Ecko Unlimited, Tommy Hilfiger, Gap, Rack Room Shoes and many more.

Orlando Premium Outlets is only 10 minutes from Manatee Villa.
This our favourite place to shop. There are over 150 outlets including Hugo Boss, Armani, Versace, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Dockers, Nike, Timberland, Raulph Lauren, DKNY, Adidas, Disney, Universal, Tommy Hilfiger & Sunglass Hut. The food court is well worth a visit. We're sure you'll love it.

The Florida Mall is approx. 25 minutes from Manatee Villa.
Florida mall has shopping for everyone and is a full day's attraction! There are hundreds of stores including JC Penny, Sears, Burdines, Dillards, Saks 5th Avenue, Nordstrom, Lord & Taylor as well as a nice food court to rest your weary feet and check out your bargains..

Mall at Millenia is approx. 30 minutes from Manatee Villa.
Located on I4 Mall at Millenia is a shoppers dream and has lots of stores including Macy's, Bloomingdale's and Neieman Marcus. You can shop till you drop for everything from designer labels, shoes to the latest electronic gadget and everything in between. There are also a large number of shops nearby.

Prime Outlets (formerly Belz) is approx. 30 minutes from Manatee Villa.
Prime Outlets was recently rebuilt and has over 100 outlet stores with shopping for all the family. Outlets include Timberland, Tommy Hilfiger, Juicy Couture, Nike, Adidas, Ralph Lauren, Disney, Fossil, Ecko, DKNY and many more.

The Orlando Magic are approx. 30 minutes from Manatee Villa .
In their short history the Orlando Magic have risen to being one of the top teams in the NBA. They have some great players. An evening game at the Magic is good value for money and great entertainment for all the family. Even if you're not into basketball you'll enjoy yourself.

The Daytona Speedway is approx. 75 minutes from Manatee Villa.
This is one of the best known sporting venues in the world of motorsport. Daytona Speedway is a great place to visit with a fantastic museum. The behind the scenes tour is a must for any motoring enthusiast. Why not go for a swim afterwards in the Atlantic Ocean or sit and have a relaxing drink or meal and watch the world go by.

The Miami Dolphins are approx. 180 minutes from Manatee Villa.
The Miami Dolphins are truely one of the best known American Football teams. Tickets are available and a visit to the Dolphins is well worth it if you're going down to Miami. The trailer party starts a couple of hours before the game so make sure you get there early.

The Tampa Bay Devil Rays are approx. 90 minutes from Manatee Villa.
A visit to the Tampa Devil Rays is always enjoyable . You'll be surprised how big the staidum is if you've never seen baseball played live before. They really do have to hit it a long way to get a home run. There are always the hot dogs, popcorn and beer if you get bored. You may even catch a ball...

Tampa Bay Lightning are approx 90 minutes from Manatee Villas.
The Lighning were NHL champions as they won the Stanley Cup in 2004 . Why not tie in a visit to Busch Gardens with an evening at the Ligtning. The atmosphere is excellent as the games are high speed and all action. You don't need to understand all the rules to have a great evening out.
